Our Beliefs
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
- Luke 4:18-19
Building Bridges
Breaking Barriers
Religion may be exclusive, but Jesus is not. God’s offer of love, salvation, mercy and grace is for everyone. And here at Bridge Pointe Church, we desire to connect with, encourage, and lift up all believers as we labor together to make Him known. As Christ’s Ambassadors, we take seriously the responsibility to help connect and reconcile as many as possible through the saving work of Jesus Christ. It’s who we are, it’s what we do. We strive for diversity and unity and we’re compelled by the love of Jesus to serve our world. Our mission? Simple. Build bridges. Break barriers.
Core Beliefs
God
We believe in God. He is, He was, and He always will be. He created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in them.
He is known as Father, came as the Son and lives in believers as the Holy Spirit.
Genesis 1:1, Matthew 3:16–17, John 1:1-2, Acts 2:32–33

Jesus
Jesus, God the Son, came to Earth and was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died for our sins and rose from the dead. He’s still alive and changing lives today!
Colossians 2:9, Luke 1:30-35, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, 2 Corinthians 5:21
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is a comforter and a guide for every born-again believer. He actually lives inside of us, His Temple, and does more for us than we can imagine.
John 16:8, Acts 2:38, Ephesians 1:13-14
Bible
The Bible is the book God wrote for us. It’s living, it’s active, it’s true and it’s absolutely applicable to our lives today. It is a blueprint for an abundant life. Get it, read it, live it!
2 Timothy 3:16-17
People
We’re not perfect. Even with our best efforts we have messed things up. We’ve missed the mark — all of us. We need help. We need Him. We also need each other, and that’s what Bridge Pointe is all about.
Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23, 6:23, Acts 4:12
Salvation
It’s a gift. It’s free. It’s God’s grace, not our good deeds. Jesus’ death allows our sins – all of them – to be forgiven. Wiped clean by the blood of Christ, the debt canceled, the guilt deleted, the stain erased…you get the picture. The gift is free; all you have to do is accept it.
John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9, Colossians 2:6, Acts 2:38
Our Response
If we believe in Jesus, see our condition and we want to receive the gift He’s offering, He calls us to repent (a change of mind that leads to a change of actions and lifestyle) and be baptized for the forgiveness of our sins. When we make Him Lord, we enter into a new life, have a new destiny and a new destination - Heaven.
Acts 2:38, Mark 16:16, Acts 8:36-38, Galatians 3:26-27
